If you’ve experienced or witnessed a racist incident, there’s something you can do about it.
Every day in Ireland, people witness incidents of racism, some of which can be quite harrowing to experience. By reporting the incident, you’ll help us:
- understand how often racist incidents occur in Ireland
- understand who’s really experiencing racism
- in some cases, if you’re willing, take action against the people responsible, to try to ensure incidents like it can’t happen again.
Privacy: You need to know.
We’ll keep the information you send us confidential, though we may, in confidence, and only if you agree, want to contact you to get a few more details. We’ll never hand over information unless required to by law.
In the coming months, we will develop a system to monitor racist events and ensure the patterns and impacts of racist events are brought to the attention of the authorities.
